The Walks

Public footpath

The Walks are also often referred to as rides. There are many different rides within the woods but some are clearly marked, We have the Nightingale Trail so called because of the large population of Nightingales in these woodlands.

The Larch walk is an easy access and short distance walk which starts from the Car Park.

Both the Nightingale Trail and Larch Walk are clear to see with colour coded way markers

There are many Public footpaths and Bridleways traversing the woods such as Wood Lane - a green lane which starts from Cawthorpe and goes through the woods on its way to Edenham.

Heartbeat Kesteven lead a number of health walks through Bourne Woods on a regular basis. For further details or a copy of the walks programme, which features free led walks in South West Lincolnshire please contact Kate Holley on 01476 406157 or email k.holley@southkesteven.gov.uk or visit www.whi.org.uk or www.bourneonline.co.uk or download the current programme by clicking here
