The Ponds
The ponds are man-made lakes when a small stream was dammed in 1972. Its a watering hole for many of the Wood's inhabitants. Fish, amphibia and grass snakes are easily spotted on a hot summer's day. The ponds are reached from the car park via the Nightingale Trail .
