The Nightingale Trail begins from the Car Park. The clockwise route of this circular walk initially heads east before heading north to the Ponds. It's well sign-posted with orange coloured hoops on the way markers and as orange dots on the map. It passes several examples of sculpture from past resident artists. It joins up with the route of the Lincolnshire Cycleway and heads south back towards the Car Park. It passes Diana's Glade, created in honour of Princess Diana by the Friends of Bourne Wood. Further on the Willow Shelter-Skelter sculpture can be seen
